I know this must be the dumbest question some of ya have come across in awhile, but I'm just learning and I have tried looking everywhere to find the answer.
My question is, How do I link my prims together so they are all one object?
If you need me to explain further, please let me know.
Thank you very much^^

not dumb at all
fist of all you need to select everything you want linked, either do this by holding down the shift key and clicking on the prims, or hold down the shift key and drag a box aound the object , altho dragging a 2d box around a 3d object can be tricky
you can also unselect prims by continuing to hold down the shift key and clicking
onward!
once you have everything selected oyu can link by using 2 ways
first way is to use the "tools" menu at the top of the screen, bout half way down is link (and unlink is below is)
the other way is to hold ctrl and push L
to unlink using the keyboard shortcut hold ctrl+shift and hit L
have fun

there is a SIZE limit to the object your linking.. I dont know the exact mesuremnts but its about 30mx30mx20m or so.. if you get the Link Failed Items To far apart.. try linking smaller sets

If you're going to be pedantic there is also a limit on the number of prims you can link together into one object, to the order of 256. Also, you'll find that the limits depend both on the size of your prims and the distance between their centres.
