Is there a way to display a image slideshow on an object somehow without using the streaming video functionality?

yes you need to upload the images to SL as textures and then use a script to change the textures with a timer

Okay.. So now I just need to find such a script... I'm not at all a programmer, and I don't understand the scripting.
Can anybody point me to where I may find such a thing?
