Ok, I've heard it's possible to bury rooms underground and then use teleport to get to them, however I can't seem to get it to work. No teleport will take me below ground level. How do I get to a buried room?

Not really possible to validly get below the terrain that I'm aware of.
What you might have heard about was that in island sims the terrain is much or terraformable, allowing you to basically dig a pit into which you can build your building and then cover it over with prims that are textured as terrain.
That's about the closest I can think of to what you are describing. I'd love to be able to really build below the terrain to make caves and stuff.

-Ghoti *sighs* I was afraid of that.. I've been trying to figure out a way to do it but I keep running up against the ground."

the common solution is to fake it with a skybox, which IMO is kinda lame, comon LL would just another 10m kill ya ?? ps i dont think skyboxes are lame, just having to fake a cave 500m above the ground

From: Osgeld Barmy having to fake a cave 500m above the ground LOL guilty of this myself waaaay back on my first big build. Yeah, would be itneresting to not be restrained by the terrain plane. There's probably technical reasons why its not possible. -Ghoti

How about using a low or negative x/y coordinate to put something beneath the terrain and teleport into it?
