I'm almost positive there's a simple guide somewhere on here I missed after checking through a few pages (pages not threads) on the forums and yahoo...and google...I think I just have problems locating things. Anyways, I generally build a lot and recently found that I have to use a sculpted prim for a certain piece, made it in Maya as thats what i've been using for awhile now. However I have no idea nor can I find out how to get it into second life, anyone out there wanna tell me or point me in the direction of the guide I couldn't find earlier?

Have you read the sculpty wiki? http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Sculpted_PrimsBasic instructions: 1. Create your sculpty geometry in Maya. (Note, this must be done in a very specific way. Not just any arbitrary geometry will work.) 2. Generate your sculpt map image(s) by running a MEL script. You can find the basic script on the wiki at http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/LlSculpt_mel, and a more advanced version at http://www.qarl.com/qLab/pile/ant/sculpt.mel. 3. Upload your sculpt map(s) to SL, as you would any other texture. Just make sure to do it losslessly. 4. Rez a prim, change its type to Sculpted, and apply your sculpt map in the appropriate field in the editor window. Your sculpty is now created. Texture as you see fit. There are also some more advanced methods for automatically assembling multi-sculpty scenes. Some are broken right now, due to recent changes in the SL server code. Others work. If you search through this forum, there's a lot of information on the subject.
