Just completed my first house. Was an interesting and educational adventure. After linking everything together for a final save copy the whole house suddenly turned phantom. I was walking thru floors, walls, everything. Didn't know what I had done or what to do about it other than go through every prim and remove the phantom check box. After looking closer I discovered that it was caused by including some window tinting script that was on the windows while doing the total link. Is this a common error? Is there anyway to prevent similiar occurances in the future? Or is this just one of the things you learn with experience Thanks, Easton

If you link a phantom prim to anything, the whole linkset becomes phantom so yes, you committed a common error. The only real solution is to be careful. There are some things that you just have to learn to leave out of a linkset. Doors -- often disabled accidentally by linking -- are another thing to watch out for.

Thanks for the reply Rolig and apologize for the tardiness. Hadn't checked this blog for a while.
