I am having problems rezzing things on my property and recieving this error: Carder: Can't create object because the parcel 'My Home' at Silla ***, *** is full. The places I am attempting to rez these objects certianly aren't full, and the objects aren't bugged. What does this mean?

Are you certain the parcel is not full? Have you looked at About Land to find out? It's possible someone dumped a bunch of prims way up in the sky over your place.
Remember, you've only got 117 prims to work with for every 512 square meters of land (15,000 prims per sim). It doesn't take much to fill a small parcel.

If you're sure that the parcel isn't full (check via about land menu), it maybe to do with the database problems. I have experienced probs where the objects menu in 'about land' doesn't tie up with what is actually there, like it is taking time to update or something similar. If it doesn't correct itself soon, it might be an idea to get in touch with support, but make sure that you are positive that it isn't full before hand, you don't want to be hacked to pieces by an angry Linden

oh man I am new to SL and didn't realize there was a limit to things you could put on your land. Is there anyway to increase the number of prims you can have without buying more land?

To get more, you must buy more land, and it must be in the same sim.

I think Ceera meant to say that you only get 117 prims for 512 M2 as Chosen said earlier! Now is a good time to see how texturing can help reduce prim counts. Also, low prim stuff is good.

Advice for new builders struggling with Prim Count
11-26-2006 05:45
...been there. Still doing that.
Kengh, we all learned about prim limits the hard way...by trying to build our dream house on a 512m plot!
Some tips: Use Large 10x10 panels. Simple design...a long rectangle, with a loft above. SL is not 'real'. you don't need to hold up roofs with walls. They'll stay up on their own. Make some inside wall textures 'transparent' or all 'alpha' as 'windows'. When you buy furniture, check its prim count before spending Lindens. Landscape last...when you know how many prims you can afford. (Lush gardens add up quickly)
