i have read this in the wiki :

to prevent others from seeing your sculpt map even when they have full permissions to the prim: use the alpha channel of the sculpt map to obscure it from view.

but how use the alpha channel here ?

The sculpty map uses the R, G and B channels of the image. If you add an alpha channel, you can make the entire image transparent if you wish. This will hide the entire sculpty map from view in the sculpty map selector display in the object editor.

Alternately, you can use the alpha channel to make only parts of your sculpty map invisible. This would let you mask off parts of the sculpty map to produce a kind of logo, symbol or watermark.

Since sculpty maps ignore the alpha channel, this will work without damaging the sculpty map.

thank you.

i translat for francophone.

Just be aware that this alpha channel solution is not true security. If someone really wants your sculpt map, there's no way you can stop them from obtaining it. There are all kinds of ways to grab it (and please, no one say what they are).

What the alpha thing will do is stop people from casually taking it "just because it's there". There's no way to stop the determined thief.

Think of it the way you think of the front door of your house. If you leave it wide open every day, chances are pretty good that sooner or later someone's gonna walk in and take your stuff. If you lock the door, you'll prevent such casual thievery, but you won't stop anyone who really wants in. If someone's determined to get in, they will, lock or no lock.
