I've reported this "bug" officially, but I was wondering if anyone else was having this issue...

It seem that with linking flexi prims, there is a shorter cap on length than 30m on the total length of the linked prims. It's closer to around 5 or 6m.

I was making a flexi whip with a handle and a whip part. Now when linking the actual whip to the handle, if the overall length of the linked object is over 5 or 6m it says the parts are too far apart. If I try and link it other ways, using different parent/child prims, it won't link at all and does nothing. Wonder if it's a bug or something I'm doing wrong. I said in the bug report that it seemed to work if more that 2 prims were used, but when I went back to try again, it still failed to link.

Anyone else come across this? I have also relogged, cleared cache, updated drivers, and used two different computers.

Thanks!

*EDIT* After further experimentation, it seems that it works for a little while. I've linked two 10m prims together, with the bottom one being flexy, and it works fine. After I continue to edit prims for the handle, something happens after a while, and it says it can't link. *shrug*
