Whenever I link two or more objects, there's always a "seam" where you can tell they meet. Even then they're positions are aligned manually (entering coordinates) I still get that seam where you can tell they're linked! =[
Please help.

make the sides about the same color of the main texture (dark texure set the sides black ect)
that will not remove them, but make them much less noticable |

Kujila, could you possibly post a screen shot?
You should be able to get things to match seamlessly assuming: A. When you say "manually aligning" them, you mean if you're connecting a .5m square block to another .5m block, you have EXACTLY .5m between the two, I.E you're mathematically figuring out exactly how to line them up. & B. You have a texture that tiles/repeats properly - meaning that if you set the U and V repeats per face up to 2 or 3 you will not see a seam or mismatched edge(s) on the texture you're using. _____________________

See attached images
Image #1 shows the seam clearly Images #2 and #3 show the sizes and positions of the two sides, which are the same. |

AHH.
D. Lighting renders in funny ways. You should be able to solve this by checking the "full bright" box, alternately you can make the object-type light, but you probably don't want it to emit light, you just want it to not draw two non-matching shadows on it. _____________________

A lot of things I make turn out like that, though. I once tried making a texture ball like the method I showed in my screenshots. It was in 1.6. I had object type set to "Light" but there was a white almost "pixely" line visible even though they were aligned right. =[

Well, more on this:
Images #1 - #3 show the "seam" in direct lighting... no texture even. Image #4 shows "full-bright" How can I make the seams not show but stay in direct lighting? I find that "Full-Bright" looks to cartoony for my likes in certain builds. |
