I recently got Zbrush. I found out the program wouldn't export the sculpties for SL, so I grabbed a copy of Wings 3D and the files needed to make the Second Life exporter for it. I was doing fine the first night of sculpting in Zbrush, exporting the .obj, importing it into Wings 3D, and then exporting it from there as a SL sculpty, but then something changed.
Let me be clear, I did not make any changes to Zbrush that I know of, but it's a very confusing program all together..but I should mention that I did update my version 3.0 to 3.1 the next day because of issues with the sphere I was using losing its UV map. Everytime I've uploaded any sculpty textures I made after that first night though, the map is like inverted and the sculpty is like see throughish..like inside out or something. Flipping the sculpty texture in PS fixes this part, but because of the issue, all the texture work I do for the prim and put on the sculpy in SL is off. I assume that's because I have to flip the sculpt map around to use it or whatever...but because of that I can't make a texture that fits the prim! If I don't flip the sculpty map texture thing, it makes the prim inside out and see throughish! I'm going insane here, can someone help me fix whatever went wrong?
I really think the problem is in ZBrush, but I guess it could be Wings 3D. I did a test to see if I could reexport an old sculpty from the first night that I knew had already worked once..I reexported that with wings 3D and uploaded it to SL, and it came out right...to me this would signify that something in Zbrush changed.

HELP !

Through a whole lot of detective work, I figured out my problem, and I will post it now in case anyone else is ever searching for this problem too.
If your sculpties look all inverted and seethroughish, you need to go into Zbrush and go up and click preferences and then click importexport and make sure all the flip buttons are in for export. My problem was that the flipX button was not pressed in :)
