Edit linked prims bounces back a lot of the time, not all the time. Just two next to each other. Must be de-linked then relinked. This is a real hassle for me. Also editing prims does not stick the first time in a lot of cases same with texturing. I will be stretching the next prim and the previous one will bounce back. Arhh This is a faily recent feature addition i feel. Just whinging

I've also had trouble shortening or lengthening a linked prim - it sorta stretches both sides even when it's not asked to and doesn't always set itself right, and it makes it an absolute pain to work with. I've had to incorporate unlink/link into my work the last couple of days too.

Just whinging I've observed the first problem too - need to unlink / relink prims to edit them - and also texturing does not stick on larger linked objects (more than a few dozen prims). Edit linked prims used to work well a few versions back; the texturing issue has always been there. The official Linden stance so far seems to be that it's a connection delay / packet loss issue - which I absolutely cannot verify. I always have the stats bar open (ctrl-shift-1) and have noticed both issues in situations where I had no packet loss at all, and ping times around 200-250ms (which is still very reasonable).
