Saving Positions of House + Furniture

I'm fairly new to SL...

I have a small parcel of land, and a house with furniture in it. I want to be able to take everything off of the land, and bring it back so that I don't have to reposition everything. In other words, can I somehow save the house and furniture's position? I seem to spend a lot of time arranging the furniture, and moving the house around so the carpet and sofa aren't floating in mid-air. Is there a way to save all of these items into a folder or object, without having to drag every item individually out of inventory?

Any tips, or docs that I can look at?

Thank you in advance!

I don't normaly work with stuff that large but selecting all the objects and then hiting take works on all the stuff I have done.

Yes, you can zoom out so you see the entire parcel, hit Ctl-3 on your keyboard, and drag a box around the whole house and all the objects within it. Then right click and Take the whole thing into your inventory. Just remember that your favorite sofa or rug is in that house, and you won't be able to access it until you re-rezz the whole house again.

Also, remember when you rez it out again, to already be in edit mode so that it rez's out selected as a unit and you can easily move it back into place or position it ideally in its new place without having to try to get it all selected again.

I've noticed a difference in selecting with the yellow box since, I think, occlusion culling. If you have probs selecting go into the house. I THINK that helps. O' course I might just be out of my mind.
