Arghhhh! Has anyone else ran into this one?

You are in edit mode, you go to click on an object that someone else made so you can move it, change it, whatever <even have mod privs on that person's objects> but nothing happens. No highlight, no move, no info in the General Tab of your edit window... nada, zip

Since 1.6.9. I've had this bug... the only remedy I've found to date is to uninstall/reinstall ARGH!!!! <pulling hair out and running in circles>!!! Yes I've filed a bug report to the Lindens, but do I have any company in my misery? And/or does anyone have any fixes besides mine that works?

Please Please Please tell me I dont have to go through the stupid pop up tutorials that you are subjected to everytime you have to reinstall.... *sigh*

But other than that, it's a great day! LOL

By chance, in the Tools menu, do you have "Select Only My Objects" checked when this happens? :o
