Seems I'm not the Creator of objects I make

so I've been building things, small homes and furniture, etc.

I complete them, take them into my inventory, and click on the properties of the object and it says that nobody created the object I just made, though it does say that I'm the owner.

When I take it out of my inventory and go to edit it, it does say I'm the creator. So what gives?

It's an ancient bug that's never been fixed. It's no big deal. I wouldn't worry about it. As long as you can see that you're the creator when the item is rezzed, it's all good. What it says in inventory isn't terribly crucial (although it would be nice if LL would finally getting around to squashing little bugs like this that are going on 3 years old already).

Specifically, if an object has things made by multiple creators in it, it will show as (nobody) in inventory.

I'm presuming you might be using some common freebie sit-scripts and the like in your furniture?
