how to put the fire in fireplace?

I have created a fireplace that I really like, but can't figure out how to put a fire in it. Can anyone help?

Your best options are a) to make a fire out of particles (best result, most effort needed) or b) to animate a primface with a multiple-image texture (medium result, less effort needed).

I just dropped you a copy of one, ironically I was trying to make a house and went overboard trying to make a fire just this morning... Textured the logs, put 2 different flame particles, 1 burning ember particle, and 1 smoke particle... and a faint sound effect... And then I took out all the scripts so it works even better. I liked how it came out so I put a mod/copy version of just the "camp fire" up for L$25 at my store.

At our Gestalt's This 'n That Market we have available for free the Linden animated flames, smoke particals and crackling fire sounds. They are setup beside the logs and smoke/smudge texture we sell, but you don't have to purchase anything! You can pair them with any logs you like.
