Hi there, not sure if this is the right forums so appologies if it's not. I just have a quick question... how can someone who doesn't own the land set it to their home location.

I have seen some places with certain locations that people can stand on to create their home position but I'm not sure how it's done as I have tried to create a somple block and set it to the group etc but people can still not set it as their home location.

Does that make sense!! Thank you :)

It's not, but I'll answer anyway. :)

Join a group that owns land, and set your home there. Otherwise, you can set your home to any of the Linden welcome areas.

Chances are the landowner subdivided the land to create a small parcel on which members of his/her group are allowed to set their homes. It's got nothing to do with anything built on the land.

Setting home has to do with land, not with objects. You can't set your home to a cube. It has to be set to a parcel of land.
