Phantom Prims in Linked Prims

I'm building a hottub, and found something thats not clear.. I want the core of the hottub to
be non-phantom, and I group the three prims that comprise the core and link them, with phantom NOT checked.. All is good so far.. Then I take the water prim, which is 50% transparent, with the inventory waterfall 'water' texture, and make it phantom, then position it in the desired location in the hottub core, and link the whole enchilada.. I now have the whole hottub assembly phantom, and when I walk on it, I fall thru.. Now if I now check phantom on the whole assembly, I can walk on water... Short question: How DO you have phantom/non-phantom prims in a linked assembly... I have to assume it CAN be done..

Do not link the water to the tub, phantom and non phantom prims can't be linked because it will get the phantom setting of the last prim you selected

So, I have to keep separate (not linked) all phantom and non-phantom prims.. That'll make moving this thing lotsa fun.. Thanks..

Yeah its annoying..

If you shift click all the items in it and *DON'T* link them, but right click and take them.. They'll all go into your inventory in one..

... And you can move them, rotate them, etc. as if they are all one item.
