A friend and I have made our first sculpted shoe and here's the problem... it's ripped through on the side. It was modeled from a nurb sphere in 3DS and I used AC3D to export since it's worked well for me before. The north and south pole are located in the center of the shoe. I included pictures of the 3d model itself and the model in SL. Does anyone know what could have happened?

Sometimes the UVs of NURBS in 3DS Max like to be at at 90 degrees from what you actually want. This could very well be true of verts as well, but I haven't checked.

Open the sculptie map in a 2d graphic editor, rotate it 90, save, and try uploading again.
