I've searched the entire site and am having trouble locating a way to import an object i made in Shade 7 into SL. I wondered if I needed an external exporter to do it seeing as how none of my export options seem to work. I also have poser but i thought that poser could only be used for making .bhv files. Any help would be appreciated!

Your exporter needs to convert the sculpted mesh to .tga with specific parameters. Your best bet is to save the mesh as an .obj and use an .obj to sculpt converter, but those aren't wholly reliable in my experience. Read the sticky about sculpting tools and the links to the wiki to understand how sculpts work.
