sculpted shoes

hi, I have some questions about sculpties and i hope u can help, I have fair knowledge in wimgs3d 3dMax and a bit of blender
what is the best 3D program to make sculpted shoes with high heels? (or combination)
what is UUID and what is a torus sculpted prim?
can a uuid be imported to sculptie program or a url to get a picture

I think you'll struggle to find anyone willing to stick their neck out and say a particular application is best for making shoes. Any of the programs that can make sculpties are perfectly capable of doing this, so "best" is really a personal preference.

uuid is the unique identifier that Second Life uses as a reference to assets such as textures. You can use it in Second Life scripts to assign textures to faces or to sculptie maps, but not in external applications.

The different types of sculpties define how the edges of the sculptie map are handled. If you think of the map as a square of fabric, a torus sculptie is rolled into a cylinder and the edges joined, then the two circular ends are joined to make the torus / donut shape. It's actually a useful shape for making open toed shoes as you could use one half to make the sole and the other to make the strap over the toes :)

As I have made my own sculptie shoes, I used a mixture of all of the free ones save Blender. It isnt the sculpting that will get you, it is the texturing.
