A very fine tut! I have been using Blender for several years and never understood the mysteries of texture mapping.

Your video is concise and very easy to follow. Even though I am not using Wings 3D, I now understand how to make a texture map.

Another tip for understanding the UV mapping

Ty, this is great! Very nicely done.

Here's something else I recently discovered. When you want to orient yourself as to where you should paint on the Photoshop texture, open the Wings UV editor window and put it in face selection mode. (That's the third icon from the left at the top of the window.) Put the Geometry window in face selection mode, also. Now, when you select a face of your model in the geometry window, the UV window will highlight the corresponding face in the texture. That shows you exactly where to paint in order to paint that face of your model.

Dude, that's pretty damn cool.

For a guy who's barely struggling to use the paint-bucket in Photoshop, it's pretty damn good to see a well paced and concise tut detailing how to texture sculpts. :D
