Hi, I am having a problem with a building technique. If you build a two box linked prim and then drag and drop another inventory item onto either the root or the child prim it appears to add not only the object dragged and dropped but a copy of the combined prim to the destination prim.
Can anyone reproduce this and is it a bug or intended function?

Can no-one respond to this or am I wasting my time asking?

Can you describe in more detail, exactly what you're doing, step by step? Your original post, as worded, is not easy to follow. Please outline repeatable steps.

just rezzed two cubes, linked them, control-dragged an object and a texture to the linked set and I get a copy of the object or the texture in one prim only, no copy of the two linked cubes.

Well I tried to repeat the experiment that I had conducted and could not repeat it. Unless it recurs forget this as a problem. Sorry for having troubled you and thanks for the interest. It could have been an inventory server error but I have no proof.
