Edit Link Button Not Working

Hi all,

I have modify rights on a friend's build. She is putting up a store on land I have rented to her. Well, she hasn't been inworld in a couple of days so I wanted to move some wayward pieces of the build back onto just her rented land. They are linked to another part of the build and when I click on 'edit linked', the edit window shuts off. Nothing remains highlighted to edit. This happens each time.

Has anyone else been having this problem? Since the pieces I want to move are linked to the rest of her build and the main prim is on the rented land, I can't just return that section that is on my pool area (yeah, that's why I want to move it! )

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. The only thing I can think of for now is to move everything straight up to where it won't be visible from the ground level.

I'd love to see an answer to this too. I have a building that I have full mod rights to, but when I go to edit linked parts or to select texture, the Edit window goes gray and nothing is highlighted. It's not a killer problem, but it IS really annoying. I'd like to be able to change the wallpaper, but I can't do it.

Make sure Select Only My Objects is not turned on.

Nope, it's not that but thanks for the suggestion. I ended up having to unlink everything, move the various pieces back to her land and relink. Will contact support about this issue.
