Hope someone can help. I have sky build 30m square and would like to move to a new location, does anyone know a method of moving a build and all its contents in one go ?

I think you want to check out Builder's Buddy in the LSL code snippets. Not played with it myself, but I think it's used for this purpose.
How far away is the new location? If it's within the same sim, you might consider just selecting everything at once and moving. I did that with my store.

If there are a lot of objects, you might want to check out Builder's Buddy or Rez Foo. It doesn't sound like you've got all that many though. Generally, a 30M skybox wouldn't be too complicated.
I'd just select all the objects (by dragging a selection box with the mouse, or by individually shift-clicking everything), and then take the whole thing into inventory at once. It will show up in your inventory as one object. Then you can simply drag it out again, and all the pieces will be there. If you're in build mode before you do the dragging, you'll automatically highlight all the pieces as they rez, so you can move the whole thing as one unit to place it precisely where you want it.
If you want to keep the skybox at high altitude, it wouldn't be a good idea to rez it on the ground, so I'd suggest you rez a simple cube first, move the cube to the height you want the floor of the skybox to be, and then drag the skybox from your inventory onto the cube.

Thx for the suggestion about Builders Buddy, I'll try it out. Tried a mass selction but there is a limit on how far apart prims may be so that doesn't work. Oh, and I am moving to a diferent sim.

Roland, you can still mass-select and take into inventory. You just can't link it all into one piece if the linksets are too far apart.
Example: Let's say I have a 50 M long bridge, made in 4 pieces. I select a piece, hold down shift, and click on each of the ramaining three pieces. If it is copyable, I can select "Take Copy". If not, just do "Take". What shows up in inventory is a single item, with the name of the last item clicked.
Go ot the new site. Go into EDIT MODE, by clicking the Build button and then clicking the edit buton at the top of the building tool pallette. Now drag your bridge out of inventory.
All 4 pieces will be there, all still selected, in the orientation they were before to each other. Drag the selected set into position. If you have to rotate a complex group of unlinked sections this way, rotate them somewhat slowly, and if they don't all seem to move at once, wait for the 'slow ones' to catch up.
That is all it takes. Builder's Buddy just makes it easier, because it fixes any alignment glitches that may occur as you move or rotate the group of linksets.
Fast way to place a skybox in mid-air:
Rex a prim, streach it to 2 M or so in width, and sit on one end. Ride the prim to the altitude you want, by sitting on the prim and then editing it's z-height. Rez the sky-build on the free end of the prim you're sitting on.

I really really wish I knew about this before.
