PrimStar Python error

I use Domino Maramas fantastic Blender scripts PrimStar 1.0.0 on two computers (both Windows 7, 32bit). On my laptop, I have no problems. But on my desktop, I get the following Python error:

(in the following error-code, I have replaced angle brackets with rounded brackets):

Compiled with Python version 2.6.2.
Checking for installed Python... got it!

Can someone please tell me, what is wrong?

I would bet, you have mixed up two versions of the scripts on your desktop. Currently many people face the problem of having installed JASS or old versions of domino's scripts and now installed primstar over that. And almost ever the problems raise because either the old scripts or primstar or both have been dumped into the blender default scripts folder and still are sitting there making trouble.

I think i have answered this question in IM chat tens of times, i have even taken many people through the process online and Ezra told me he gets this questions at least once per day and answers it.

And i can not stop to tell everybody to just watch our customize-blender video very carefully. It is all said there. And the described way is the only way to go if you want to avoid severe headache today and in the future.

BTW the very same process is also described somewhere in the primstar readme (which apparently nobody reads, or nobody understands ... )

Sadly i can no longer find the link to our video on domino's website, allthough the current version of the video is updated for primstar. So all i can tell here is: try it out, it has helped lots of people!

Thank you so much for your quick response, Gaia. Maybe I got a bit confused. I'll try to reinstall Primstar and JASS using your video.

Now it works perfect. I had to set the file-path to the script folder in the user-preferences.
