I'm building a house in a quiet beach, but the neighbors love jet-skis and vehicles so we have a constant motor noise. Is there a way to make an acoustic isolator between parcels? So I could hear ambient noise from my parcel but block sounds coming from outside.

I don't want to start telling everyone around to shut up, so some sort of privacy sound system would be nice.

In the LAND options media there is spatial sound check box I believe. Just check it.

Your neighbors would have to check that box in their land settings so that their noise won't bleed into your parcel.

Not true, Calveen. You can limit the spatial sounds on your land to the sounds produced on your land.

No doubt, that shouldnt even be an option.. it should just be that way, unless I'm missing some reason for the option to be there.

Wrong, altho the title of the checkbox is a bit confusing, it actually restricts incoming sounds, not outgoing.
