I am building a structure with 4 walls, each consisting of 4 10m sections. I am able to link 4 sections to make a wall, but would like to link the 4 walls together to make a box that I can relocate rather than lining them up every time I move something. Can this be done? Go easy on me, I'm a newbie :)

A large number of prims can be linked together. To link a set of prims, select the prims by shift-clicking on each one. Then go to EDIT>LINK to link the prims. Command-L also works for linking.

Sometimes you are unable to link a set of prims because the prims are too far apart. Solutions include moving the prims closer together, or leaving it in a few peices.

When I do my large buildings, I usually am not able to make one big object. I make several linked sections. You can shift-click the sections and move them as a group without linking them.

I hope that this helps. Welcome to Second Life and the Forums. If you need any more help, you can Instant-Message me in game.
