I would like to learn how to make more complex and detailed clothing than that which you can create with the Appearance menu. Can someone tell me if there is a tutorial covering such topics as: creating belts and other accessories and linking them to clothing; applying different textures to separate parts of an item of clothing; creating custom textures, etc. Also, what software would I need to have to go beyond the basics? Thank you in advance for any advice you can offer.

There is no way to link a prim-based attachment to a piece of clothing so that they automatically go on together. There is the usual method of putting an entire ensemble in one folder and dragging the folder onto your avatar, which puts on or attaches every possible item in that folder at once, but it's entirely up to the customer to arrange his or her inventory that way. |
