Hello! I am new to SL and I was wondering how I can build objects like tables, etc. out of one prim. I have seen it done before and I have tried myself but I cannot figure it out. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Beugul

I am sure there are many ways, but i made one of these yesterday. What i did was just use a cube.

The top face is a plain wood texture, the sides are the same but with cut outs so it looks like legs (using an alpha texture). i.e - it is all just pictures on the face of a cube.

If you IM me in world, I will give you the table to examine if you want.

You can use the torus, cut the right way to make it table like with 1 prim..

I have one in my inventory, never used it, but I got one..lol

I will drop on you so you can see...
