Yes that was an intentional typo.

I've been working long and hard on a skybox for a couple of months now (seems like forever). Recently I visited a high traffic area and to cut down on lag I put all the graphic detail sliders to their lowest setting temporarily. When I returned home I was horrified to find my beautiful curvy skybox all horrible angles, none of the walls lining up, and stairways sticking out of the sides. I had forgotten to set my sliders back up.

But this brings up the frightening question -- If I ever want to sell items, am I going to have to build them at the lowest mesh detail setting? Or if I do that will they then be out of alignment to someone who is using a higher detail setting? Is there a standard detail setting that most builders agree on? I don't notice things being out of alignment as I wander around SL.

This was never mentioned in any of the tutorials I've seen and it has given me a bad case of PMS (prim mesh suckiness)! -- KC

there is an interesting thing about the "smooth" sl prims, cylinders, spheres and torus, that is, they have a "direction" , when i build items that have several cylinders stacked i always try to keep them all in the same direction if i can, because then in the lowest detail setting , everything is still lined up
