Hello,

I am having a problem with sculpted prims that do not appear as intended. I tried to create a prim that is supposed to be used as segment for a gothic rooftop after working successfully through the guide at http://amandalevitsky.googlepages.com/sculptedprims .

I patched up the images in google, go to the following site to have a look: http://sharven.raabe.googlepages.com/home

Does anyone have an idea what may have caused this? The three textures I created are all in the set as described in the tutorials in the Map To and Map Input Panels. They are all in blend mode and the material is in VCOL Paint mode... everything as it is supposed to...

Thanks for hints.

The material thinks your object is smaller than it is so clipping is occuring. Probably applying scale and rotation will sort it.

Alternatively try the scripts from /8/60/203571/1.html#post1629533 instead of the material approach as it's a lot easier and less can go wrong :)

Thank you. Those scripts look very helpful. Now if I had only saved everything, everything would be fine. ^^
