1. Is it possible to set a prim or linked prims to always face you? Assuming that some object animations are not shared events...
2. Is it possible to scale a prim or linked prims up or down without typing in the measurements or clicking the arrows? I'm thinking it would work similar to rotation, where selected and control let you rotate the object directly. Does something like this exist for scaling? This would be for making a multi-tiered structure.
Thanks!

1. no
2. I think it's holding down Control and Shift while the object is selected. It's funny, it's so natural to me that I don't consciously think about it and thus I can't remember exactly off the top of my head.

From: Lee Ponzu 1. a script could produce this behavior. Sort of. You could script a prim to always face a specific person, but it wouldn't really be a billboard effect like in most game engines. That's because while it would face the one person, it wouldn't be facing the camera for ALL people.

A prim can't face everybody's camera all the time, but a static particle can. It's not a perfect solution, since some people have particles turned off, but it's the closest thing we've got to what the OP is asking for.
