Hi I would like to try and make my own furniture, but I can't seem to find the kind of quality poses i'd like - i've tried out furniture in sl that shows such lovely poses - couples sitting together, nice animated sit poses... would anyone know if these are available to buy? or is it simply that the maker of the furniture made their own poses? i've collected so many freebies, but none of them move me to want to use them! I'm prepared to pay for quality poses Thanks very much in advance, Gracey xx

I have also found that there are a lot of free animations out there that can be put in a blank pose ball (also available for free). Before buying poses or animations, I really recommend finding out what there is available for free. The Freebie place run by the giant blue guy is a good place to start.

Depending on your needs, you may find what you need for free. Visit Freebie Warehouse and you can get HUNDREDS of free poseballs for furniture. Sort through and keep the ones you want. You only invest your time sorting through ... no Lindens.
Or, if your time is more valuable than that, pay for the poses and buy exactly what you want.
It's a trade ... time vs. money.

Some of the free sit poses are ok, a lot have some funky issues (like burying your avatar's hands into your thighs etc) so a selection of those and some nice bought poses/anims as a mix is a good compromise that cuts down on setup costs.
For chairs that aren't recliners or comfy looking armchairs, I've stuck with sit targets only on the few pieces I've done- the majority of people have their own sit poses in their AOs that they may prefer to any forced furniture anim/pose. Well I like mine anyway.
