Hi I'm trying to assist a friend with a minor, but annoying problem
If you have set your land so no one else can build on it, but an object created by someone else is partially showing on your land. what is the best way to return it.
when they click More on the Pie Chart the Return option is not available and the autoreturn other residents' objects has been set up.
Or has this happened because there is some overlap between land boundaries.
Thank you for your assistance

Sounds like the object is not actually on your friend's land, but just overhanging it a bit. It's all about where the object's center is. For example, a 10M wide cube could overhang your land by 4.99 meters while still being "on" your neighbor's land. It's not until the exact center crosses the border that it's considered to be on your land.
Best solution, ask the neighbor to move the object. You'll find that most people are pretty nice about that sort of thing (although there are unfortunately some exceptions). As in all things, communication is key.
If the neighbor refuses to move it, a Linden might do it for you, but make sure you exhaust all polite avenues with the neighbor first. That's the right thing to do.
