If a player uses llGiveInventory(), via HUD or whatever, to give an object to an object owned by another player, does the owner of the receiving object gain possession of the object received?

i.e. If the receiving object then rezzed the object from its inventory, who would the owner be?

Using llGiveInventory works just like one avatar giving an object to another avatar. All ownership and permission changes behave likewise.

If you give a Yes Copy/Yes Transfer object, then the object will exist in two places. If you give a No Copy/Yes Transfer object, the giver will no longer have it. You cannot transfer a No Transfer object.

In your situation, the owner of the receiving object will now own the object that was transferred.
