Land Tier Fees, one question i dont hear being asked.

This is probably the wrong place to post this so if an admin needs to move it then cool.

My question is: If i buy a plot of land half way through the month and then sell it before the month is up, do i have to pay the tier? Is it done on peak land use or does whoever the owner is at the end of the month have to pay the tier for the land.

Tier is calculated based on the maximum amount of land you held during a billing period.

If you held a full sim worth of land for 2 hours, you would be charged full Tier for that month.

That's right, I held land for only 15 minutes and the Tier went but not back down.. Just have to remember that anytime you own and sell or give away land.

You can rent tier from other people to avoid problems like this (usually at a discount from LL's posted rates). You basically rent the tier you need for the time that you need it instead of having to pay for a whole month.
