How can you make a bunch of prims one object which shows up in the game as 1 prim?

It looks like there's one in the entrance to Ivory Tower and all of the Trees, Plants and Grasses in the Library look much higher than a single prim...

Anyone?

Linden made plants are always just one prim, thats just the way it is.

Other than that, there's no way to do it, not really. You could use a sinlge prim that does a temp-on-rez model of the other prims every 2 minutes...

Related to that question, can I make two prims editable as one? I hoped to do it by linking them together but you still can't edit them as one can you?

Basically I've combined two shapes and I want to resize and reshape them as one.

Yes, linking 2 shapes will resize them as one, but most of the time you can only use the white squares on the corners, I think...

Did you link them by going into build mode, holding shift, selecting all prims and pressing CTRL+L?

If not, try that, if so, I don't know :(

Linking two shapes together will make one object, comprised of two prims. The only editing you can do on this is the overall size( the white squares you mentioned). After the two prims are linked you can select edit linked parts then edit each prim that is attached, but you can't make two prims into one single prim. Linking only joins them together, it will not turn them into one prim.

Hopefully that made sense. lol

Jayson, you should visit SoLur Industries (Igbo 108, 126, 31).

They have a product called The Rezzor which allows you to get around land prim limits. It's 250L.

You can check out more info about it @ SLBoutiqueand SLEXchange.
