Ok, I have a small plot of "First land". However to build, decorate and then do something with it is very limited due to my item limit. I understand the way to get more items is to own other plots of land and keep them empty. Is this the only way? Thats more of a monthly fee on top of the basic one if I understand correctly. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

There are 2 ways to get more prims on a parcel of land

1.) Own more Sq Meters
2.) Be a member of a group, and all members that own land contribute some of their own Tier to the group.

Other than that, there is no other way to increase Prim limits on parcels. :)

Try making your own House/furnishings. With clever use of textures and prim shaping, you can actully make some decent stuff. Maximize the use of prims. It's amazing how much stuff out there uses up many prims unnecessarily.

There's lots of freebie scripts in the forums to to add to your house and furniture.
