blacking out number values

K have a prim, made it no modify/no copy...but when i give it to someone else they can still see all the number values...how do i black these out so others can not see them.

There is no way I am aware of to make these numbers invisible. They can always be seen, even if not modifiable, though the gray on gray is hard to read. There are also scripts that can duplicate prims exactly.

They used to black out in linked sets. Not so any more with the new "Edit Linked Parts" functionality.

This change puzzled me, and personally I think they completely threw out the old system for it. It reeks of not being an intended "change," but rather an oversight with permissions.

Perhaps you should Hotline to Linden this concern?

Actually, I've noticed that half of the numbers were recently (like 1.6.4 or so) blocked. The position and size values remain, but the actual prim properties (type of shape, cut, twist, etc) appear to be hidden if you don't have mod rights.
