I've got a furry avatar with a crafted upper arm. I'd like to add a scripted bracelet to the arm at a specific spot. All the attach points on the avatar are being used so I can't just adapt the bracelet to another point.
I can take off the upper arm and then try to size the bracelet to fit, then align them together on the ground. The bracelet has scripts so it's got to be linked last.
Invariably, when I try to pick the modified arm up and connect it back to the original attach point, it's no longer aligned right for the body & takes forever to get it set back right.
Is there a better way to accomplish this? Any suggestions would be appreciated...
I read about people using a pose stand to simplify the process. If that will help, does anyhbody know where I can get a free one?

Attachments are a pain to work with, but once you have the accessories glommed on and linked, you can do the final prim adjusting after you've reattached the piece. If you are relinking, it is going to be tougher to get things lined up since the numbers will change, but it still might help to grab the position and rotation numbers from the top of the screen before you detach. Too bad you can't type them in for attachments. :/ For a nice simple stand with useful poses built in (not just the usual edit appearance thing), you can buy one for free at Skanks R Us, http://slurl.com/secondlife/Gotlib/102/138/35 The ones on the floor are set for sale at L$0.
