I don't know how many of you are aware of this, but a building bug seems to have appeared after the havok upgrade (well this is the case for me). Anyone who builds should check out this jira link and see if it's the same for you. http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-2063Personally I didn't have these problems before havok 4, but I do now, maybe that's a Mac thing. If you find you have the same problem please vote, maybe it'll get some attention then... well a girl can hope!

I'm not sure that it's a bug, the linking rules did change quite a lot with Havok 4. Details (unfortunately they're a little complicated) at https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Linkability_Rules

According to the new Linkability rules: ( http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Linkability_Rules) From: someone # Two pieces can link if their bounding boxes would completely fit within a "Linkability Sphere". # The size of the Linkability Sphere is between 2m and 54m diameter, depending on the scale of the two pieces being linked.
* Specifically the size is 3 times the sum of both object's bounding box radius plus 2 meters, up to a maximum of 54m. So, radius of the bounding box of a 0.5m sphere, 0.25m Two spheres, 0.25+ 0.25 = 0.5 Multiply by 3, and add 2: = 3.5 m So these two prims must be within 3.5 m of each other to link. This isn't a bug, but how the new link rules work.
