I made spiral stairs from a cylinder and I like them. But how in the world do I build the railings? Thanks for the help!!!

When I do as you suggest I end up with a railing that is tiny on the ground, gets to proper height in the middle, and at the top has faded away to nothing again. I think I must be missing something fundamental.

I always use a hollow, skewed, contour-cut tube prim for railing. No need to twist the prim if your radius is <10m. Use a 90 or -90 degree twist on beginning and end if you need a radius >10m. You can also use this prim to create the spiral ramp too.
