I'd thought I'd like to try my hand at designing a HUD that encapsulates some features I use a lot (turning AO off/on, TP'ing to several locations).. Then I discovered that I have no clue how to get a prim gussied up to use the 'attach to HUD' command... As an experiement, I took a standard .5x.5x.5 box prim and attached it to the upper right corner, and voila! it looked sort of like a wooden box in the top right corner of my screen... Now, here's where a HUD tutorial would be fantastic.. Has anybody done one yet??? enquiring pixel-peole want to know.....

TIA

Yadni's junkyard has 1 or 2 examples. One of which has both minimize via llSetPos and sections turning off via llSetAlpha.
One of the simplest tips I can personally give is test at various screen sizes... unless something changed recently the screen resolution makes what you can and cant see differ.

Its Yadni's Junkyard.. Its at Leda (210, 28, 54).. Lots of freebies, and edu-ma-cation.. I didn't realize there were tutorials on doing HUD's..
