Good news. Always nice to see another sculpty tool, especially an inexpensive one. Very nice to see sculpty tools being integrated into commercial 3D apps.

After spending $500 plus on that useless piece of crap Carrara, I can't imagine ever buying another program from DAZ :(

Still, it's nice to have even more options for those who want to create sculpties, and it looks pretty easy to use and as mentioned above the price isn't bad at all.

This looks really promising. Has anyone used this to bake textures and bring them back into SL? I don't mean the sculptmaps, but the painted texture.

Well after doing a little research about it on the wiki and through Daz's own tutorials, I decided to buy Hexagon. I'm looking forward to playing with it :)

It's even cheaper than stated because I got a 30% coupon just for signing up with Daz. Final price was just over $50. If you are inclined to get Daz content every month, it would be even cheaper - join the platinum club and the price is even less, like $50 before any coupons.

Yes it is cheap enough to buy just for sculpties, yet it is also a very powerful modeler!
There are so many people interested in learning how to create sculpties, what a great way
to get people interested in 3d modeling.

Just throwing this question out there. Are sculpted prims really as new as they seem? Have
they been used before anywhere? Are they being used in other virtual worlds or would they be able to?

IIRC, the technology isn't new but it hasn't been used on this scale.
