Floating text from a Casino machince on a property next door is in my house. Is there an easy way to get rid of this? It's is annoying to have "PAY $20 - $500 TO PLAY!" floating in my living room.

I had that problem with non-physical stuff from a neighbor coming through my walls.
I ended up just abandoning my remaining rent on that property. Luckily I didn't have any significant deposit tied up in the rented land, like you do when you "buy" land in SL, so I wasn't giving up anything when I walked. |

The problem with the floating text is that it is set to appear from any direction whenever you get within a certain proximity of the object containing it. The only answer is to ask the casino owner to move the machine a bit. A couple meters should do the trick.
Most persons are quite nice about adjusting their builds in small fashions for neighbors...afterall, the casino wouldn't want floating text showin' inside their walls from your house, would they? _____________________

Get your hands on an Invisaprim. Not just a prim with a clear texture on it but the kind they use to hide parts of an avatar for making high heel shoes, extreme avies, etc.
Put it between you and the offending text and all gone ![]() Unfortunately the ones I have that were transferable no longer work due to updates so I don’t have one I can drop on you. Maybe someone reading this has one and can send it your way. _____________________

If that doesn't work and the other owner doesn't want to move them, you could create your own prim with floating text that says, "These slot machines are rigged." and stick it next to the said wall.
Joking of course as that could spiral down into a nasty fight. |
