A common one is Builder's Buddy

Yes, Builder's Buddy would be the way to go.
I just happen to have packed up the current version (1.10) with the help documentation & a Demo build to practise with. XStreet https://www.xstreetsl.com/modules.php?name=Marketplace&file=item&ItemID=1767609 Inworld http://slurl.com/secondlife/Little%20Blue%20Island/196/97/22 |

I'd like to ask two additional questions on this subject (rather than starting a new thread)
Can they use Megaprims with this (these) device/s ? Do you suffer from "fine" errors (seams) with prim alignment when these things autoplace items for you? I have noticed sometimes whilst rotating a prim around/moving it about I can get a fine seam, if I make a fresh prim, then I can normally fix it 100% (some tiny internal innacuracy I guess) |

And I haven't personally noticed any seams so far. IfI come across any, I'll post back. ![]() For what it's worth, I usually start all of my builds at an intersection of meters (ex: 95.000, 119.000, ...) for easy math calculations and I typically enter numbers manually for precision. |

Thats like the first thing I teach in every class - put box .. make box sit on even numbers.. I use megaprims that are cut to hell with rezzers and they work flawless, there might be a difference with different brands though because when I rezzed my 1100 prim boat the other day with the rez faux system there were prims missing and misaligned. It took me 3 or 4 tries to get it to rez all in the right place. I use the palen one and never had a problem, its not free like the Builders Buddy thing but its definetly worth the 2 or so bucks it costs. _____________________

I just purchased the Rez-Faux package and hasworked fine oneverything have put into it. Megaprims cn be used and the Rez-Faux is only 625L, vey worth what you pay for it.

Usually if it takes you three or four tries to make a successful rez, it's often the fault of the sim your in. A combination of lag and asset server slowness can cause a rez to time out or lose prims. Try moving to another sim to test this and if that's the case simply wait til later in the day or the next day to try rezzing at your desired location.

Not only what Casper said, but sometimes it is rezzed and the client just didn't update properly. I rezzed an almost 500 prim object once and it was full of holes, from my perspective, but I knew that those holes could not be there. Left the sim and come back the everything was viewing properly.
