Hiding the Contents of an Object

Hi Everyone,

So I have built a few things which I would like to offer for sale. The objects contain scripts and textures. I have noticed that objects which I have bought, even complex scripted objects, do not allow me to see their contents, not even their scripts. I don't seem to be able to hide my scripts and textures from the next owner of my objects. I'm obviously missing something elementary here. Can someone supply a clue? Thanks,

Fred.

If a script is no-mod, you can see it is there, but you can't read it.

If a script or content item is not in the root prim, you can't see that content item unless you edit linked parts, and click the part that has the script or item in it. Clicking on the item without 'edit linked parts' selected only shows you the contents of the root prim.

Refer to textures by UUID number in scripts, and leave them in your inventory when you texture something (Must have full perms on your texture to do this). You never need to place a texture in the contents of an item unless it is a limited-permissions texture, or is a texture that the item is supposed to distribute.
