I logged on this AM and the doors in my new house in Blumfield weren't attached to the doors. One door was in the yard and my entire house seemed it had to have moved a bit, since I could see the texture from the fireplace in the corners of my carpet. How can this happen? What can I do?

I have no idea how to fix this.

Sounds like prim drift. This is one of SL's more annoying little quirks that just won't seem to go away. It's a bug as old as time. Every once in a while, stuff just ends up over there instead of over here where you left it. Usually, the best solution is to move the affected prims back into place, duplicate them, and then delete the originals.

Duplication and deletion are essential because once a prim has drifted once, it'll most likely drift again. There's usually no fixing it once it's broken.

Before you do this though, you might want to clear your cache and relog. If your cache got screwed up somehow, you could be seeing all kinds of things in the wrong places on your end, while in actuality they're still where they're supposed to be. Make sure what you're seeing is real before you make any changes. Edit -> Preferences -> Network -> Clear Cache, then close SL and restart.

This is fantastic help. How do I make duplicates? Just copy them before deleting? Thanks so very much.
