I'd like to try making prim shoes to sell and I'm wondering how big I should make my feet on the "appearance" sliders so that the shoes I make will have the best chance of fitting as many potential customers as possible. Thanks for any advise.

Thanks for any advise. The default seems to be foot size 0 for females, size 30 for males.

Your feet look quite small if you walk around with size zero feet and non-prim shoes. But the prim shoes + feet end up looking more natural.

Thanks for any advise. Hi Dover! You may find that you'll want to make different styles/heights/shapes of prim shoes. I advise you to consider making the prim shoe, then go to the foot *form* with the sliders to determine the size of foot you'll need. You're dealing with many other factors besides just the size (toe shape, foot height, width....blah blah). In other words, shape the foot to the prim shoe and not the other way around. When you sell your prim shoe, you'll also sell the foot *form* with it....so you won't have to worry about the shoe fitting each customer's foot as the shoe form will guarantee that. I.e., I have a different foot form for my pointy toed dress shoes, my high heel boots, and another for my high heel sandals. Best, ~Ari

I tend to make my prim shoes for size zero. That way you are sure that customers can simply stretch them to fit larger feet (even unisex boots, which will be worn by men). If you make them for a larger foot and you include any prims of minimum size, then they will not be able to be reduced in size. I remember finding that to be a real problem when I was a noob (not that long ago actually).
Not sure if that was clear! It's late!

I'm delighted to hear you say this as I have one pair of shoes for sale so far - a simple flat sandle. I put 3 sizes in each box, along with shoe forms, with instructions for sizing the the feet to fit. My smallest is 34 but I think maybe that is small enough as the shoe doesn't add much size.
