Advice on how to make a Giant Sphere ?

I want to make a GIant Sphere, is this possible ??

I thought I heard about these in the past but do not have any links or know who can make them. I want to make them hollow and would need to be at least 50 metres across to enciompass a build and editable to produce other small planets iin the sky.

also has anyone got any Star Wars Death Star textures including the alpha made for the areas where its not fully built? Would save me struggling to make one from net visuals

A 25m megaprim cube should become a 50m diameter sphere when you change the shape setting. Please be sure where you do it that it's allowed. I wouldnt rez a mega on the Mainland for example.

Thanks but I d not have these and my only ecperiene with trying t change a 20x20m flat panel prim is that it becomes a 10m as soon as you try edit it in any direction.

Run down to Yandi's frebee lot, I am pretty sure he has them. They really should be free, you can find them at a few places. Sometimes for a few bucks, sometimes free. And megaprims can only be cut and hollowed, you can't edit their sizes.

Recently, there was a brief hole in the system that allowed new megaprims to be made. The new megas can be hollowed, changed in type (box to sphere, for example), cut, and edited in any way EXCEPT changing the size. (They snap back to 10x10x10 if you try to resize them.) They have "real" bounding boxes, too.

Many builders who could use the exploit made and packaged literally hundreds of new megas in various sizes.

An SLX search for megaprim will turn up several free packages of new megas. I think there is a stash inworld, but I don't know where.

Next time I'm in SL I'll send you what I've got.

Holocluck, my experience has been that a 25m cube will become a 25m diameter sphere, not 50m.

Anyone got the Death Star texture with alpha areas or could make one.. would need to go on a sphere of 50x50x50m size.
